Panhandle Children's Foundation works with Camp Agape of Amarillo group to provide overnight camps for special needs children in the Panhandle Area. Beginning in 2012 PCFI along with Camp Agape held a three-day overnight camp for special need children and teens, and their families. This camp offers the opportunity for these young people to experience what many have never experienced: horseback riding, campfires, crafts, and an overnight camp. Each year since has seen an increased number of overnight camps to offer more specific ages. We now offer 4 camps throughout the year.
Panhandle Children's Foundation also offers day camp opportunities for many disadvantaged and special needs groups from surrounding towns and their schools. To book your day camp please contact us or Talon Point at (806)935-5598
All of our camps are conducted at our property Talon Point. Located in the open plains of the Panhandle of Texas. During the scheduled camps, Talon Point's main function is to provide a place for special children in the Texas Panhandle Region to come and enjoy the facilities that Panhandle Children's Foundation, Inc. provides.
Talon Point also provides a quiet, and clean accommodation for your groups. Whether you want a quick getaway, or want to host your special event, such as a wedding, or reunion with us. You will enjoy the beautiful sunrises and spectacular sunsets from our facility and courtyards.
Please check out their website at www.talonpoint.org
